My own philosophy in life
My mission statement and philosophy in life is to try your absolute best at whatever you set your mind to, be it social, academic or sport projects. I want to be able to look back on whatever I did and be pleased that it was the best I could do and even if I could go back in time that I would not be able to improve on it at all. So below are a few examples of where I practise my own mission statement.

IT
I am quite passionate about IT as I’ve been intrigued by it since a very early age. (4 or 5 I started playing around with my dad’s computer I think) and my friends and peers also had a huge influence on what I do.
I am currently programming my 3rd proper game in java source code and will use it for my end of year matric IT project. I am spending quite a lot of time on it, not for marks, but to abide by my mission statement. I think it is incredibly important to try your very best because when you try so hard you can never be disappointed in yourself as you did everything in your power. My game is quite sophisticated even though it is a simple 2D flying game. I intend on adding several levels and being a
ble to add SQL code to it so that top scores could be recorded. This will be one of the 1st games on the greenfoot site I plan on publishing my game so I am quite excited to see what the online community has to say about my Jet Game!I am also a top member of clan ZerO. Clan ZerO consists of Elmo, Werno, De Reuck, Pierre, George and myself. All the information on my friends are below this post. We have subscribed to several DOTA (map mod of war craft 3 frozen throne) tournaments and came out quite successful. Our clan ended in 2nd place at the Waterkloof LAN out of 17 clans. We also plan on entering Rage at some point in time. We play a lot of online DOTA and all our accounts are above level 25 (we are wel
l-respected in the DOTA community). This is my way of relaxing but at the same time I take it seriously. (We also play counter strike, COD5, unreal tournament3, C&C red alert3, crysis, ect) my nickname online is Diabl0s_ so if you ever see me online feel free to drop in and say hello ;)I also spend a lot of my time using photoshop to create abstract backgrounds and pieces of "art" if you can call it that. I enjoy playing around with Photoshop because I have noticed that you tend to have to use it a lot in simple every day things so I decided to try and master it. I try and learn somthing new every day and try find a senario where i could use it to try and help me remember the diffrent photoshop techniques. I used a lot of photoshop to develope the models of my jets in my jet game. I enjoy having a bit of knowledge in most of the divisions of IT and specializing in my favourites. below are some of my back grounds I created to learn some new skills and then practise them in the extremes such as below.
This is the sort of general trend my back grounds are heading towards where the left is one of my very firsts and the right is one of my latest while the bottom one is some where in the middle.I find it sort of relaxing making these and they provide the benefit of both extraordinary heading, backgrounds boarders for projects as well as never having a dull wallpaper ;-) Once again, when I do these, I try my very best and I refuse to stop until my present one is better than the last
Sport 
In winter (especially now in matric) I have decided to stop doing sport for competition and rather just to stay healthy and fit. At the moment I am doing Hockey and I enjoy it as a social sport but the one area I enjoy most is water sports such as swimming and Waterpolo. I made the local provincial team (Northen Gauteng) in 2008 and went down to the South African trials in East London. I played my first 1st team game for my school at the end of grade 9 and went to the under-19 Cliffton tournament twice and will probably go again for the third time to represent my
school. I have been playing Waterpolo for 5 years now and I really enjoy playing 
it. I start off as a right wing, swimming for the ball, but end up any position that might need me. I am a strong defender and my speed helps for counter attacks. I also enjoy Waterpolo as it is a team game and I think the social skills that one learns from team sports are definitely special and unique.
I also enjoy normal swimming. I won several medals at inter high (provincial interschool gala) and finished the mid mar mile within medal time 4 times. My latest one I finished 223rd in a time of 25mins.

"my team"
this is the school's 1st team for waterpolo. we all went to Hungary together to play some of their team. Was great fun traveling around europe and making a few stops in Egypt on our way there.
